Getting started with Bene

Updated: 20 June 2026

Bene turns your training, food, weight, habits, and plans into one connected day. Here's how to get up and running in a few minutes.

Create your account

Open Bene and sign up with email, Apple, or Google. A short setup asks for your goal and a few basics so the app — and your coach — start with useful context.

If you wear an Apple Watch or use Apple Health, connecting it lets Bene pull in your completed workouts automatically. You can do this during setup or later in Profile → Connected sources.

Find your way around

Bene has three tabs, plus your profile:

  1. Home — a quick read on your day: a greeting, your workout and calorie cards, and rows for routines, weight, and habits.
  2. Log — your day as a timeline. Everything you record shows up here in order, grouped into morning, afternoon, and evening.
  3. Coach — a chat with an AI coach that's grounded in what you've logged.
  4. Profile — tap your avatar in the top-right of Home for settings, goals, and preferences.

Log anything with the + button

The circular + button in the centre of the tab bar is your quick-log shortcut. Tap it to start a workout, start from a routine, log your weight, tick off habits, or log food — without leaving the screen you're on.

Your connected day

As you log, each entry lands on the Log timeline at the time it happened — meals, workouts, weight check-ins, habits, and any planned sessions. That single, honest picture of your day is what makes Bene different from juggling separate apps, and it's exactly what your coach reads when you ask it anything.

Where to next

Learn the fastest ways to log food, then get to know your coach — the guides below cover both.
